If you look at the mortgage bond chart below you can see bonds traded slightly lower to end the week. Traders left for the Thanksgiving holiday so trading volume was light on Wednesday and Friday. Delaware Mortgage Rates moved higher after the Federal Reserve Meeting Minutes renewed fears of tapering their asset purchases this year versus waiting until 2014. If you look at the bond page below you can see a red candle down on Tuesday when Mortgage Bond hit the 200 days moving average and was turned lower. Then on Wednesday big red candle down after the Federal Reserve Minutes was released and renewed fears of tapering caused sell-off in the bond market. Delaware Mortgage Rates moved lower last week as mortgage bonds were able to rebound after the big sell-off in bonds from the October Jobs Report. If you look at the mortgage bond chart below you can see that mortgage bonds had a big red candle (big sell-off) on Friday, November 8th but have since been able to rebound each day last week to move mortgage interest rates lower each day. Interest rates ended the week almost where they before the sell-off on Friday the 8th. Delaware Mortgage Rates Surged Higher to end the week after a better than expected October Jobs Report was released. If you look at the mortgage bond chart below you can see the big red candle down on Friday which was a sell-off in mortgage bonds on Friday. Delaware Mortgage Rates ended the week lower as the uncertainty in the market helped rally the bond market. If you look at the mortgage bond chart below you can see mortgage bonds closed Friday below the 200 days moving average and we are seeing a double top pattern emerge. Delaware mortgage rates continued to improve this week as a government shut looms over the Federal Debt Limit. If you look at the mortgage bond chart below you can see mortgage bonds have had a big rally higher since hitting the all-time low for the year at the beginning of September. Mortgage bonds have rallied higher on the Federal Reserve continuing their asset purchase program QE3 with no tapering and the fight going on in US Congress over raising the debt limit.
