Delaware Mortgage Rates were able to recover last and move back to all-time lows for the year.  If you look at the mortgage bond chart below you can bonds were able to bounce off support last Monday and rally higher to end the week.  Mortgage Bonds are once again sitting at the highs for the year and could move either direction from here. Delaware Mortgage Rates moved higher last week after the November Jobs Report was released by the Labor Department.  If you look at the mortgage bond chart below you can see that the trend had been for mortgage bonds to move higher until last week.  Mortgage bonds sold off most the week then dropped even more after the jobs report. Delaware Mortgage Rates were able to move lower last week as mortgage bonds rallied and broke through the ceiling of resistance.  If you look at the mortgage bond chart below, you can see mortgage bonds rallied through the ceiling of resistance which is the red line that is labeled R1 in the chart.  This line of resistance has held since October 15th so breaking above this line and closing above it last week is a very bullish sign for mortgage bonds.  We are recommending FLOATING your Delaware Mortgage Rate to start the week to see if bonds can build on the momentum they have after breaking through resistance last week. Delaware Mortgage Rates were able to move slightly lower last week as mortgage bonds bounced off the level of support.  If you look at the mortgage bond chart below you can see mortgage bonds are now trading higher in the short term but are being capped by a ceiling of resistance which is the blue horizontal line on the chart.  The rise in stock prices has capped the mortgage bond market.  We are recommending FLOATING your Delaware Mortgage Rate to start the week to see if bonds can gain momentum to break thru the ceiling of resistance.  If bonds hit the ceiling and are turned lower, we will switch to a locking stance. Delaware Mortgage Rates drifted lower last week as mortgage bonds traded in the lower end of the trading range.  If you view the mortgage bond chart below you will see that bonds have traded between the two blue lines over the last two weeks but ended last week at the bottom of the channel.  Thursday and Friday both closed with green candles which means bonds bounced off resistance at the bottom of the channel so short term momentum is for bonds to move higher so we recommend FLOATING Your Delaware Mortgage Rate to start the week. Delaware Mortgage Rates still hover around the all-time lows of the year but in the short term, we may see a pullback as traders will sell bonds to lock in profit.  If you look at the mortgage bond chart below you can see mortgage bonds set a record high for the year and then sold off.  The short term trend is for mortgage bonds to move higher but with bonds being at all-time record highs for the year we are recommending LOCKING in your Delaware Mortgage Rate unless you are not settling for 60 days or more as the short term risk versus reward doesn’t warrant floating.
